Our world is constantly changing, and we know Council needs to change too.

This year’s elections present an exciting opportunity for our District. A chance for us to break the mould.

Our community and its needs are diverse - with almost half our population aged between 30-64 years old, and growing Māori, Pacific, and Asian communities in our District.

We think the best things happen when decisions are made by people from all walks of life, who truly represent our diverse community.

Which is why we are calling for Generation Change to come forward and shake things up.

This year’s Council elections are a chance for you to influence the future of our rohe, either by standing for Council or being informed on those who are and voting.
